Being an alumni of the institute, I take great pride in writting this review. NBRC is one of the premier Research Institute of India. The Faculty and the research environment are excellent. One of the highlights of the institute is, its well equipped and generously funded core facilities. The Non teaching staffs are very cooperative and proactive in their designated role. Besides academics the institute is located in a beautiful Aravali terrain.
I am an alumni of NBRC presently pursuing my postdoctoral research at National Institutes of Health, USA. Its been a wonderful experience 2010-2016. Life at NBRC always brings in good memories about the place. Not only NBRC had enriched me with science but has helped me to develop as a person. Comparing to the US universities often I find NBRC has all that you can ask for under the umbrella of growing Indian Science.
Having benefited from the CV Raman grant, I was welcomed at the National Brain Research Centre. It was a very enriching experience for me not only scientifically where I could learn mammalian cells culture but also on the cultural level where I discovered a very hospitable people with very good meals. NBRC is undoubtedly one of the best research centers for neuroscience.

Best centre only dedicated to neuroscience in India. Centre houses cutting edge research facilities and extremely talented scientists. Place of extreme talent, though you should be lucky to get into it. After working here for 2 years I can say that working here is a best opportunity you can get. Never miss a chance to work here.
